From sour apples to sour grapes this Hallowed Stones vineyard produces an exceptional cab franc from Watermill. This vineyard was an apple orchard for years and was transformed into vineyards a little over 20 years ago. This wine sings with a lovely smell, tastes of hints of vanilla and spice, and a smooth slightly dry finish. Emily thinks it tastes like a library smells but with a touch of sweetness. It is quite different from most Washington cab francs! While this one is lovely now, the longer you let it age the more it will grow. While it’s rare to find a wine that drinks great young and will improve in a different way as it ages this awesome wine pulls it off!
